Note: This site is primitive with no buildings or running water.
Please plan accordingly for Seating, Beverages, and dress in weather appropriate Garb.

Archery

The Red Spears Baronial Archery Championship
The Red Spears Baronial Archery Championship starts at 10:30am and continues until the ranges closes as an individual shoot.
The shoot is open to all comers, however the new Baronial Champion will be selected only from Red Spears populace members participating.

The Challenge:
All who wish to participate will use the "Baronial Champion's Bow" to shoot and record their scores. You will be permitted 12 arrows warmup with the bow, then proceed to shoot your 3 rounds of 6 arrows each at the championship targets.
One round at each target.
At 10yrds: Bring home the bacon but don't scramble the eggs.
At 20yrds: I can see you through that window.
At 30yrds: Heart O' My Heart.

Lunch Tavern


To warm and nourish our Brave and Fearless populace there will be a Baked Potato Bar available.
Take a break and enjoy good food and fellowship during the day for a mere $5.00.


From the North:

There are two easy ways to the park from the North
If you are traveling from Bowling Green and its surrounding areas, head South on State Route 25 to Portage, OH.
The park will be on the East (left side) just as you exit the south side of the Village of Portage. If you are coming from North of Bowling Green and I75 is your preferred route, take I75 South to State Route 6, Exit 179.
Take State Route 6 West to State Route 25, Turn Left on State Route 25 and head South to Portage, OH.
The park will be on the East (left side) just as you exit the south side of the Village of Portage.

From the South:

If you are coming from the south, find you way to I75.
Take I75 to exit 171, Cygnet Rd. and State Route 25. Turn left at the stop on Cygnet Rd., proceed over the overpass,
turn right onto State Route 25 and head North for about 6 miles. Enright Park will be on the East (right side)
just before you enter the Village of Portage.

From the East or West:

Find your best route to either I75 or State Route 25 and follow the North or South directions
according to your access to those routes in relation to Portage, Ohio.
