Join Us!

The Barony of Red Spears is a part of an organization known as the SCA. We embrace history, and take it to a new level! From England to Japan, our members study history around the world. There is something for everyone, and you decide what you will pursue! The range of our activities is vast: heavy fighting, sewing, dancing, painting, theater, archery, and more are all a part of our range of activities. We host armored combat tournaments, feasts, dance sessions, and art competitions throughout the year!

Weekly meetings are free to attend, and do not require a membership.

We host weekly meetings in 2 different areas. These meetings are free to attend, and open to the public. If you are interested in joining us, please stop by one of our weekly meetings and introduce yourself! We are open to all ages, but we do require that minors have a parent or legal guardian with them. Our big annual events such as Baron Wars, and Yulefeast do have a fee and attire requirements.

Membership is not required to attend a local weekly meeting.

Historical attire is NOT required to attend weekly meetings.
